Pay It Forward Friday (Hunger Action Month)

IMG_4729.PNG

On this edition of Pay It Forward Friday I am highlighting the Hunger Action Month sponsored by the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

I found about this initiative while at the Tot Spot in Atlantic Station. I was very happy to see that they were doing a food drive and also taking monetary donations.

We all went orange and made a food donation of canned goods. The little ones even got an orange balloon which they loved.

They even have a 30 day action plan that is a great way to bring awareness to the hunger disparities here in Metro Atlanta. For more info on how to get involved go to their website HERE.

Even if you aren’t in Atlanta, I would encourage you to donate to your local food bank. There are always people in need. How will you pay it forward?

  1. This is a great way to teach children about helping other’s Each community has a need, this inspired me to donate to the Star of Hope which is right around the corner from me. My heart goes out to the kids that catch the bus with me and come from there. I see such strength in their eyes. My prayers go out to them.
